This book is a collection of papers covering two main converging topics of digital transformation at the social level: sharing economy and smart cities.
Some of the papers address the definitions and the frameworks necessary to understand the phenomena, others discuss topics of special interest for the area.
As currently many startups are born in these two areas, some readings cover the topic of the business model canvas as a tool which helps clarifying the components of the startup and their interrelations.
The first target audience of this book are the students of the Sharing economy & Smart cities course at Bocconi University, an international and active group of young students interested in exploring potentials and risks of the years to come.
