This book is an attempt to settle different perspectives to look at a fundamental theme of management theory, since it was born: the survival of firms. The volume makes an excursus of the scientific literature on the issue of the firms’ crisis and compares different analytical, econometric methodologies applied to an existing case history – that of Italian companies -, over a very long period of time. Furthermore, the authors propose a combined methodology of productivity analysis and limited dependent variables model.
